The ensuing interview was lively to say the least - as you can see it was Miller Time! DTM: There’s a lot of classical music training in this band, which I hear in the layers. How did that fold in to the production?
Rob: I learned Bach’s Chorals for two years; I was the bottom of the class. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said production, that’s when it helps. [Chris Lord-Alge, our mixer] banned me from the studio after our mix sessions. I like the Stone Roses, he said on our album there’s enough reverb for ten albums. LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW
