They formed in Manchester, they play melodic rock and roll, and DTM played them on the Sunday show moments after he received their first single as an import. The ensuing interview was lively to say the least - as you can see it was Miller Time!
DTM: There’s a lot of classical music training in this band, which I hear in the layers. How did that fold in to the production?
Rob: I learned Bach’s Chorals for two years; I was the bottom of the class. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said production, that’s when it helps. [Chris Lord-Alge, our mixer] banned me from the studio after our mix sessions. I like the Stone Roses, he said on our album there’s enough reverb for ten albums.
