What the world needed now was another Camper album. What it got was a rock opera about a teenager from Texas who joins the military after a “9/11 like” event but ends up joining the anti-government militia. Minutes after the release of “New Roman Times” DTM was playing it. In return, when CVB came to play The Fillmore, David Lowery and Jonathan Segal camped out in Studio C to play a couple of live tunes, and take part in an anything but politically correct interview. DTM: Would you sign in, please? Jonathan: My name is Jonathan Segel and I actually had to sign a loyalty oath once when I took a job teaching in the East Bay to defend this country against all foes domestic and international and believe me, I've been trying to defend this country against domestic foes.
