DTM: Chamber Pop! Let’s blow this up! Hello, “Eleanor Rigby!” Hello, “A Day In The Life!” Hello, “Ruby Tuesday!” When you come upon this and people are trying to put this in a basket of some sort, and the audience who we are surrounded by…doesn’t know chamber pop from schmamber schmoop! But journalists spend 98% of their time trying to categorize and you’ve come into the world of being a band…having to deal with this every day! San Fermin: When you write it’s hard to take yourself out of a space of “How is this going to be heard?” Is it going to be heard on iPhone speakers, is it going to be heard on a Spotify playlist and that’s weird and I actually don’t like that part of being a band, so I try to minimize it as much as possible. By showing up to see us, people have already agreed that either they know what’s going on, or they know they don’t know what’s going to go on - but they’re there for the whole experience! It’s easy to pour ourselves into it, because they are fully supportive. LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW
